A Portfolio Targeting the Home Building and Renovation Market

Aim High Publishing has a portfolio of publications and websites specifically targeting consumers, designers and builders in the residential construction market.
Hitting Your Target
We hit people who are actually doing projects so everyone who picks up one of our magazines or visits our websites more than once is likely in the market to buy your product or service. Read below for more information or talk to us about tailor-made packages we can put together for you….

Building Guide

Building Guide helps you target people who are building and buying products for their new build or renovation.

If you want to talk to people who are building or renovating, you need to talk to us, because that’s who we provide information for.

With residential consents and activity going through the roof (so to speak) there’s never been a better timeMarch 2015 Canetrbury Building Guide to be promoting your product or service and the people who come to our website and pick up our publications are actually doing stuff.

The Building Guide goes out through councils, Home Ideas Centres, builders, designers, through retail and now through Mitre 10 Megas too.

We have around 55,000 copies sent out on a region by region basis and they last a full year in the market (except Auckland and Canterbury/Nelson, which are bi-annual).

Under the new regulations released January 1, 2015 builders are required to ensure their clients are ‘informed’ about building, and that’s exactly what we do!

Don’t you think it makes sense that if you want to get people who are building or renovating into your store or website, the best way is to use a publication that targets them directly?

We think so. And so do others. Read what they have to say about us here

Put Your Products or Services on Our Website

If you’re here then you’ve found our wonderful website which we’ve just relaunched (October 2015).

And as of October 2015 we’re getting around 15,000+ kiwis into the website each month with 4000 returning more than once. Given there are around 1700 new build consents issued each month, and around the same for renovations, that gives us tremendous market penetration.

And we have over 1000 kiwis looking for a builder and products each month. That’s 1000 people per month who are in the middle of building projects and need products and builders and tradespeople and more…

BoB (for Builders)BoB 2-2015

BoB is the builders mag. Written by a semi-retired QS and ex-lecturer in construction at Open Polytech, BoB talks about the industry and what’s going on in it, for builders, in their language.

We’re independent, which means we can call it as we see it and builders @#%^&#$% love it!

10,000 copies sent to all Registered Master Builders, Certified Builders, several thousand licensed builders, and hitting unregisted builders via 3/4 of councils around the country, and we’re available digitally via the Building Hub network.

Does Magazine Advertising Work?

The answer is ‘Yes! Of course.” But it does depend on what you’re trying to achieve. If you want phone calls running you off your feet, then other media may be better, but nothing works better for building brands than magazines. It’s the combination of engagement, context and readers’ attachment to the publication they’re reading that really drives home your brand and a preponderance to purchase. Read the evidence here… and here…
