Of growing importance to many, security is best installed, or at the very least, prepared for, at the building stage. Consider whether a monitored alarm is required or a simple alarm by itself. 

• You can have a remote lock installed at the gate with keypad to unlock and intercom for visitors to request entry.
• Think about entry points to vulnerable areas and even consider using plants with sharp edges to make entry and exit points more difficult to access.
• Is your system sufficient to expand in the event of additional extensions to the house?
